Microneedling

Skin Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that is used to encourage collagen production using a medical-grade, state-of-the-art precision microneedling device tool that can easily help repair deep skin damage without causing further scarring or discomfort.

The treatment is carried out using the powerful and dynamic Dr Pen M8, or a Dermaroller (body only).
Each device has tiny needles that create micro injuries to the epidermis (outer layer of skin) and dermis (inner layer of skin). 

This wound healing response is what stimulates a healing cascade of new collagen and elastin formation.

Microneedling is a non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatment and can be used for facial and body areas, for concerns such as ageing skin, fine lines, wrinkles, acne scarring, surgical scarring, stretch marks, pigmentation, hair loss, enlarged pores, dark circles, eye bags and overall skin tone.

Treatments will also include the use of Cosmeceutical grade products by Medik 8. Containing active compounds that provide anti aging, anti inflammatory and sun protective effects and work on the deeper levels of the skin.

• Anaesthesia required - Yes, 30 minutes prior to treatment
• Downtime - Post treatment your skin will remain red, which may look similar to moderate sunburn for around 24-36 hours
• As the treatment stimulates natural responses in your skin it can take some time for the full effects of the treatment to show, however, you will normally see improvements within a few weeks. Best results will be seen from 3 months onwards after a course of treatments
